Our popular “make what you want with real tools” workshop is back! You’ll get to use real tools to create cool inventions. This program uses real tools and a caregiver is required to stay in the room with participants at all times.

Explore engineering, electronics and basic circuitry while building with Cubelets and Snap Circuits.

Make your own Monopoly game using a blank board, and card templates. Knowledge of how the game is played is not a requirement.

Getting started with Fiero Code is easy. We’ll introduce you to your account, and show you how to navigate Fiero Code before diving into your first “workout” with Code Blocks.

Encourage a love of reading with this fun, interactive literacy program hosted by our friends from United for Literacy. Participants will pair up with a volunteer literacy tutor for guided reading sessions followed by language games and activities with the group.

We’ll make new friends and explore everything from letters and numbers to turn-taking and getting dressed for recess to help you feel ready for your new adventures in kindergarten. Please note parents/caregivers will be part of the learning process, but there may be times we ask parents/caregivers to leave the room for a short period of time to help children begin to transition to a classroom setting. This program is intended for children born in 2019 or 2020, who are entering kindergarten in September 2024.
