This program gives tweens a chance to explore cool topics, share opinions, and try out their public‑speaking skills in a laid‑back, supportive space. We’ll play debate‑style games, do quick challenges, and have goofy (but respectful!) discussions that get everyone talking.

Pollination Station
About the Program
For Earth Day, help pollinators and learn how your garden can make a difference! In this fun, hands-on program for tweens, participants will discover how to create backyard spaces that support bees, butterflies, and other helpful insects. They'll learn why pollinators matter, how to make a garden more inviting for them, and why insects aren’t as scary as they seem.
LEGO Lab

Let your imagination run wild with LEGO®! Kids will have access to a variety of LEGO bricks to build anything they can dream up, from towering creations to intricate designs. Take part in fun LEGO challenges that test creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. It’s a hands-on, playful program where kids can build, experiment, and share their creations with friends.
After School Maker Club

Kids will create fun gadgets, solve creative science problems, and experiment with tech tools and robots—including Ozobots, Cubelets, and LEGO Spike Robotics. Drama Llamas

This program is all about big energy, bold ideas, and lots of laughs! Play fun improv and theatre games while creating characters, stories, and scenes together in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Build confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills—no scripts, memorization, or experience required.
Cardboard Chair Design Challenge
About the Program
If you build it, they will sit! Engineers, design aficionados, and makers are all welcome at this program for kids and tweens. Cardboard materials will be provided, and building guidance will be offered for attendees. Participants will be able to take their creations with them after the program concludes. Program attendees are also encouraged to bring their grownup to join in the engineering fun.
Ocean Heroes

Become an Ocean Hero! This indoor, family-friendly drop-in is inspired by shoreline clean-ups and ocean conservation efforts. Through games, crafts, and hands-on exploration, families will learn how to protect marine life, reduce plastic waste, and make small changes that create a big impact. Dive into fun activities that spark curiosity, inspire action, and celebrate our shared responsibility to care for our oceans.
Science Games
About the Program
Pendulums, momentum, friction, levers and more feature among the scientific concepts in this drop-in program for families. Play Pendulum Skittles, learn about force and energy with Marble Targets, friction with Penny Pusher, levers with Wobbly Handover, brain science with Stroop boards and gross motor science through the Space Suit Trials. There’s something in this program for everyone, and all and knowledge levels of science are welcome.

About the Program
Solve engineering puzzles using LEGO and your imagination! Participants will pick an equation card, then travel through stations to build the missing pieces of the completed LEGO structures on the card. All skill levels are welcome.

Encourage a love of reading with this fun, interactive literacy program. Participants will pair up with a volunteer literacy tutor for guided reading sessions followed by language games and activities with the group.
Mother's Day Crafternoon

Celebrate the special caregiver in your life—whether it’s a mom, grandmother, aunt, or anyone who makes you feel loved. In this relaxed, creative crafternoon, participants will make handmade cards and create simple floral‑themed crafts to give as thoughtful gifts. All materials are provided, and everyone is welcome to get creative and enjoy a fun afternoon together.
