Learn the basics of spool knitting, a fast and fun way to create beautiful knit items. We will make our own spools that kids will get to take home after the program.
Canadian Children's Book Week Author/Illustrator Visit
Join Sid for a workshop where we look at the pieces of nature that exist all around us and explore ways to lovingly document, preserve, and care for the things we find (while leaving them where they belong). Participants will draw and write about their chosen treasures and the surrounding environment, sparking stories to tell and coming away with fun games and activities for interacting with the natural world.

Join Leonarda for a fun and interactive session on anger and social and emotional learning. Leonarda will read her picturebook, Fighting Words, and prompt children to notice the consequences and impact of unfiltered explosive anger and how we can repair and learn to be accountable.
