Borrowing Book Club Picks

When visiting the Main Library, you can borrow as many copies of a Book Club Pick as are available on the shelf. If you’d rather place a hold, you can request one copy for pickup at any location. (Other book club members can place their own holds too.)

Each Book Club Pick has at least five copies available, in addition to regular library copies. Whenever possible, titles are also offered as eBooks or eAudiobooks through the downloadLibrary website or the Libby app.

Book Club Picks can be borrowed for 6 weeks and are renewable for an additional 3 weeks. Regular library copies, eBooks and eAudiobooks are available for up to 3 weeks.

Discussion Questions

If a book includes publisher-created discussion questions, you’ll find a link by clicking ‘More Information’ on your title of interest in the catalogue, then viewing the ‘Multimedia’ links. If no official questions are available, we’ve added a link to general discussion prompts to help get your conversation started.
