Accessibility at Your Library

Free Accessible Parking

An Accessible Parking Permit must be clearly displayed in the vehicle when using one of these spaces. The designated spaces are located adjacent to library entrances. There are no time limits on the use of these parking spaces.

The Main Library is the only library with an elevator. Our other library locations are all single story buildings.

Headphones to Borrow In-Library

Please ask staff for assistance to borrow headphones in the library.

Accessible Computer Workstations

All computers can be accessed by a wheelchair and one computer at each location come equipped with a large print keyboard.

Service dogs & service dogs in-training are welcome in all library spaces.

Light Therapy Lamps

Light Therapy Lamps are effective tools for those impacted by Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

HD Video Magnifier

Make reading easier with a video magnifier that enlarges text and images on a high-definition screen. Available at the John M. Harper Branch.

ZoomText

All computers are equipped with ZoomText, a screen magnification and reading software that enhances visibility and supports easier navigation for users with low vision.
