Interlibrary Loans

If the library does not have a specific book or microfilm in its collection and you would like to borrow it, interlibrary loans can help.

If we don't have a book you you're looking for, we can often borrow it for you from other libraries across Canada. Please note that books and microfilm available at Waterloo Public Library, Kitchener Public Library, Cambridge Public Library (formerly Idea Exchange) or the Region of Waterloo Library cannot be requested. DVDs, CDs, recorded books and language kits cannot be requested through this service. Microfilm that is available from Archives of Ontario may be requested. You must have the reference code and reel number of the microfilm you are requesting. Additionally, we cannot borrow books that have been published within the last 12 months.
