Parking Lot Closure at the Main Library

UPDATE (June 3, 2025): The repaving work is now complete and the Dupont St. parking lot has re-opened.

Beginning Saturday, May 31, 2025 a large section of the Dupont St. parking lot at the Main Library is being repaved. This work will require part of the lot to be closed and inaccessible to customers for approximately one week (see image below). The external returns drop box will remain open for returns via the sidewalk during this time and parking will be available in the back portion of the lot. The upper Library Lot is also available and has accessible parking spaces.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as the City of Waterloo works on these improvements to the Dupont St. parking lot.
