Borrowing Yoto Player Kits

How to Borrow

  • Yoto Player Kits have a two (2) week loan period using an adult card and are renewable
  • Yoto Player Kits can be placed on hold to be picked up at any WPL location
  • Yoto Player Kits can also be borrowed in person from the John M. Harper Branch
  • Borrowers must be 18 years of age or older and acknowledge the Lending Agreement for this item before borrowing

How to Return

  • Return Yoto Player Kits directly to staff at any WPL location during library hours
  • Yoto Player Kits may not be returned through a returns slot
  • Story cards must be returned with the same kit that they came in

Important Usage Information

  • ONLY story cards that come with the kit can be used with that Yoto player
  • WPL Yoto Players CANNOT be connected to the Yoto app or a personal Yoto account

    Yoto Player Kit

    Full Replacement Cost = approximately $250-$350

    Lost Item: Borrowers will be charged for full replacement cost of missing items. Whenever possible, individual damaged pieces will be billed rather than the full replacement cost.

    Damaged Item: Borrowers will be charged for full replacement costs of damaged items due to accidents or inappropriate use.

    Borrowers will not be charged for normal wear and tear.

    All Borrowers must understand and agree with the following terms and conditions:

    • Borrowers must be 18+ years of age.
    • All components have been accounted for by WPL staff prior to being borrowed.
    • Borrowers will immediately report equipment malfunction, damages or loss due to accident, neglect or abuse.
    • Borrowers will not attempt to repair damages or have them repaired by anyone other than library staff.
    • Borrowers are responsible for all borrowed equipment until it is inspected and signed off by a WPL staff person.
    • Equipment must be returned directly to a library staff member during open hours.
    • Materials must not be returned in any returns slot.
