Borrowing Nintendo Switch Kits

How to Borrow

  • Nintendo Switch Kits have a two (2) week loan period using an adult card and are renewable
  • Nintendo Switch Kits can be placed on hold to be picked up at any WPL location
  • Nintendo Switch Kits can also be borrowed in person from the Main Library
  • Borrowers must be 18 years of age or older and acknowledge the Lending Agreement for this item before borrowing

How to Return

  • Return Nintendo Switch Kits directly to staff at any WPL location during library hours
  • Nintendo Switch Kits may not be returned through a returns slot
  • Game cards must be returned with the same kit that they came in

  • Nintendo Switch Console, Dock & Case
  • Two (2) Pairs of Joy-Cons & Joy-Con Grip Controller
  • Selection of Games
  • Four (4) Wrist Straps
  • AC Adapter (Wall Charger) & HDMI Cable
  • Sport Leg Strap Accessory* (only in select kits)

    Full Replacement Cost = approximately $875-$1,020

    Lost Item: Borrowers will be charged for full replacement cost of missing items. Whenever possible, individual damaged pieces will be billed rather than the full replacement cost.

    Damaged Item: Borrowers will be charged for full replacement costs of damaged items due to accidents or inappropriate use.

    Borrowers will not be charged for normal wear and tear.

    All Borrowers must understand and agree with the following terms and conditions:

    • Borrowers must be 18+ years of age.
    • All components have been accounted for by WPL staff prior to being borrowed.
    • Borrowers will immediately report equipment malfunction, damages or loss due to accident, neglect or abuse.
    • Borrowers will not attempt to repair damages or have them repaired by anyone other than library staff.
    • Borrowers are responsible for all borrowed equipment until it is inspected and signed off by a WPL staff person.
    • Equipment must be returned directly to a library staff member during open hours.
    • Materials must not be returned in any returns slot.
