Paper Engineers: Tetrahedrons and Cubes
About the Program
Calling all young engineers! Join us for this paper engineering program where you'll put your skills to the test, creating paper tetrahedrons, and see how big a Menger Cube the group can make using paper. Participants will be able to take home their creations.
Crafty Morning
About the Program
Get creative together at Crafty Morning! Families are invited to drop in and make fun, hands-on crafts. All materials will be provided—just bring your imagination!
Robot Building
About the Program
Get ready to build, code, and be inspired! Kids will learn the basics of coding using LEGO SPIKE kits, guided by the talented members of Team DAVE—F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition Team 3683, made up of students in grades 8–12 from St. David’s Catholic Secondary School in Waterloo. Plus, don’t miss the chance to see one of Team DAVE’s very own competition robots in action during a live demo.
Notebook Decorating
About the Program
Get creative and make a notebook that’s totally your own! Participants will use a variety of craft supplies, like stickers, pompoms, glitter glue, and paint to design and decorate a one-of-a-kind notebook cover. All materials and notebooks will be provided.

Saturday Morning Cartoons: Art Challenge
About the Program
Create cartoons from letters and see what scene you can make using basic shapes. Participants will receive instruction on how to create drawings using letters of the alphabet and will use this knowledge in a challenge during the second part of the program.
