Waterloo Public Library tries to support as many local authors as possible. Before submitting your book for consideration, please review the following information and criteria:

  • Local authors must live in the City of Waterloo. If you do not currently reside in the City of Waterloo, please submit a Purchase Suggestion request.
  • All images, graphics and co-authors must be credited.
  • Materials should follow Accessible Canada Guidelines.
  • WPL purchases materials from library vendors (Library Bound and Whitehots) or local booksellers. Please reach out to vendors to have your title added to their catalogue.
