Bring WPL to your classroom, organization or community event. Our staff will share books, highlight digital tools, and deliver customizable activities that support literacy and learning.

Curriculum‑Based Programs
Designed specifically for teachers, these programs support Ontario curriculum expectations through focused, hands‑on learning. Programs are offered only at the library.

Best for: Elementary educators and homeschool groupsExploring the Elements of Music (K-Grade 1)
In this 75-minute program, students will explore beat, rhythm, tempo and dynamics through stories, songs, and hands-on activities.
Nature Appreciation Program (Grades K-6)
In this 75-minute program, students will learn about the importance of plants and animals through an interactive presentation, storytime and a variety of hands-on activities. Students will plant seeds to take home with them.
Lego Spike Program (Grades 1-5)
In this 90-minute program, students will work together to complete building and coding problem-solving challenges that help them become resilient, independent thinkers.
