Ukuleles & Lullabies
About the Program
Learn the basics of ukulele in this special two-part program designed for caregivers and their babies. In the first session, you’ll explore simple ukulele fundamentals and learn lullabies to play and sing for your little one. Participants can borrow a ukulele to take home and practice between sessions, then return for the second class to play together as a group and share the music you’ve learned.

Have fun with math in this interactive educational program. Friendly volunteer tutors will work with children to explore mathematical concepts with fun activities and challenges.
Knitting and Crochet Club
About the Program
This is a social group for people who enjoy knitting and crocheting. Participants will have an opportunity to share their projects, chat with other enthusiasts, get advice, and get inspired. Some experience in knitting and crochet is required.
20s & 30s Book Club
About the Program
Our 20s & 30s Book Club is all about keeping things easy, friendly, and fun. Come chat about books, meet other readers around your age, and enjoy a relaxed, no-pressure discussion. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and there’ll be lots of chances to swap recommendations, help choose future book club picks, and connect with fellow book lovers in your community. The group meets once a month and you’re always welcome to join for just one night or keep coming back.
Film Screening: "Sensory Overload"
About the Program
In recognition of AccessAbility Week, we’re screening Sensory Overload, a documentary that highlights the experiences of neurodivergent and neurosensitive individuals and the allies who support them. The film follows people who are challenging stigma, shifting neurotypical perspectives, and advocating for environments that better meet their sensory needs. With an estimated 20% of people experiencing heightened sensitivity to the world around them, Sensory Overload sheds light on the importance of sensory‑inclusive spaces and the ongoing work to break down barriers in our communities.
Hand Lettering Basics: Brush Calligraphy 2.0
About the Program
Join us for this exciting conclusion to the Hand Lettering Basics programs, where participants will learn extended brush calligraphy techniques. We will cover flourishes, drawing bouncy-style brush calligraphy letters, and creating posters using lettering layout templates. The program will conclude with participants making their own poster on 11 x 17 cardstock.

2SLGBTQIA+ Reading Circle
About the Program
Join WPL and SPECTRUM for a reading circle for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies that takes less commitment than a book club. We'll have different readings (short stories, essays, poetry, etc.) that we will read together and then discuss. No preparation needed! The readings will explore 2SLGBTQIA+ topics and/or be written by 2SLGBTQIA+ writers.
