Early Years and Child Care Navigators

In partnership with the the YMCA of Three Rivers’ Early Years, we’re here to help support families with young children. Visit the Main Library or McCormick Branch during scheduled office hours to meet with a Early Years and Child Care Navigator.

About Early Years and Child Care Navigators

The YMCA of Three Rivers’ Early Years and Child Care (EYCC) Navigators are here to help families who may be experiencing barriers find and access child care and early learning services in Waterloo Region.

They are one of the first people you should talk to when you need help:

  • Exploring licensed child care options
  • Applying for child care through OneList Waterloo Region
  • Getting information on help paying for child care
  • Connecting with other services like special needs resources, EarlyON Child and Family Centres, and Public Health

Funded by the Region of Waterloo, EYCC Navigators are ready to support you.

Office Hours at WPL

Connect with Mel, our EYCC Navigator, during drop-in hours at the Main Library and McCormick Branch. Appointments are not required.

  • McCormick Branch: 10am to 3pm the last Tuesday of the month
  • Main Library: 10am to 3pm the first Friday of the month
