Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. Millions of people attend thousands of free participatory arts and culture events across Canada both in-person and online.
Culture Days aims to:
- FOSTER appreciation and support of the artistic and cultural life that is lived, created and expressed across the country in urban, suburban and rural areas alike;
- PROMOTE direct interaction between creators and the public, as a key to increasing understanding and appreciation of art and culture; and
- AFFIRM that every citizen is the guardian of the cultural life of his, her or their community.

Lumen: GLOW TOGETHER
About the Event
Mosaic of Belonging Art Piece
Help us make a giant glow-in-the-dark artwork for the Main Library! Decorate your own tile with unique designs, then add it to a large, puzzle-like mosaic. Local artists, led by Jason Panda, will create a bright, blacklight-reactive mural as the backdrop. During LUMEN, you can watch the artwork come to life under UV light. Your tile will become part of a permanent display at the library, celebrating diversity, storytelling, and community.
Bird Walk at RIM Park
