Are you a local author looking to share your work? Join KW Writers Alliance and Waterloo Public Library (WPL) for a Local Author Showcase on Thursday, December 11 from 6-8pm!
How to Participate
If you’d like to take part, registration begins Monday, October 20 with submissions closing on Monday, November 17 or when spaces are full.
What to Expect
Each author can bring up to three works to showcase and you’re welcome to sell your books, though WPL staff won’t be able to handle money or provide point-of-sale resources. We’ll have event signage ready, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like. If you have any accessibility needs, please let us know—we want to make sure everyone can fully participate. We also encourage authors from marginalized and equity-seeking groups to register.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All books MUST be written by the author and cannot have used AI to generate the book or content for the book.

The showcase will take place indoors at the Main Library (35 Albert St, Waterloo).
