Borrowing Photo & Video Production Equipment
We will be offering a variety of photo and video production equipment for borrowing in the coming months. Before checking out items, please read the borrowing instructions carefully, as they vary depending on the item. Be sure to verify the pick-up location, as not all items are available at every library location. Equipment must be returned directly to library staff during operating hours and cannot be returned through the book returns slot.
Borrowing 8″ Ring Light
How to Borrow
- The 8″ ring light can be borrowed for three (3) weeks using an adult card and is renewable
- The 8″ ring light can be placed on hold to be picked up at the Eastside Branch only
How to Return
- The 8″ ring light can only be returned to the Eastside Branch
- Return the 8″ ring light directly to staff at the Eastside Branch during library hours
- The 8″ ring light may not be returned through a returns slot

Damaged Item: Borrowers will be charged for full replacement costs of damaged items due to accidents or inappropriate use.
Borrowers will not be charged for normal wear and tear.
All Borrowers must understand and agree with the following terms and conditions:
- Borrowers must be 18+ years of age.
- All components have been accounted for by WPL staff prior to being borrowed.
- Borrowers will immediately report equipment malfunction, damages or loss due to accident, neglect or abuse.
- Borrowers will not attempt to repair damages or have them repaired by anyone other than library staff.
- Borrowers are responsible for all borrowed equipment until it is inspected and signed off by a WPL staff person.
- Equipment must be returned directly to a library staff member during open hours.
- Materials must not be returned in any returns slot.

Please Note: A CFexpress memory card is required for use and is not provided. You can purchase a CFexpress memory card from the library or use your own. A CFexpress card reader can be borrowed withe the camera to transfer images to a computer or smart device.
