Borrowing a Keyboard

How to Borrow

  • Keyboards are available to borrow at the Main Library and Eastside Branch
  • Keyboards can be borrowed for three (3) weeks using an adult card and are renewable
  • Borrowers must be 18 years of age or older and acknowledge the Lending Agreement for this item before borrowing
  • Keyboards can be placed on hold to be picked up at the Main Library and Eastside Branch only

How to Return

  • Keyboards must be returned to the same location from where they were borrowed
  • Return keyboards directly to staff during library hours
  • Keyboards may not be returned through a returns slot

    Full Replacement Cost = approximately $410


    Lost Item: Borrowers will be charged for full replacement cost of missing items. Whenever possible, individual damaged pieces will be billed rather than the full replacement cost.

    Damaged Item: Borrowers will be charged for full replacement costs of damaged items due to accidents or inappropriate use.

    Borrowers will not be charged for normal wear and tear.


    All Borrowers must understand and agree with the following terms and conditions:

    • Borrowers must be 18+ years of age.
    • All components have been accounted for by WPL staff prior to being borrowed.
    • Borrowers will immediately report equipment malfunction, damages or loss due to accident, neglect or abuse.
    • Borrowers will not attempt to repair damages or have them repaired by anyone other than library staff.
    • Borrowers are responsible for all borrowed equipment until it is inspected and signed off by a WPL staff person.
    • Equipment must be returned directly to a library staff member during open hours.
    • Materials must not be returned in any returns slot.
