CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Starting Thursday, August 14 customers will be unable to access the Albert McCormick Community Centre via the McCormick Branch side of the building (through the ice rink) for approximately 1-week. Customers will need to exit the building and go around to another exterior entrance.

Bike Locks

If you’re biking to the library and need to secure your bike, we offer bike locks for you to borrow while you are visiting the library.

How to Borrow

  • Bike locks are available to borrow at the Main Library, McCormick Branch and Eastside Branch (currently bike locks are not available at the John M. Harper Branch)
  • Bike locks are available on a first come, first served basis (no holds)
  • Bike locks can be borrowed to use while you are visiting the library, they must be returned before leaving

How to Return

  • Bike locks must be returned to the library before leaving – they are not meant to be taken off the property
  • Bike locks may not be returned through a returns slot

Please speak directly with staff to borrow a bike lock while you are visiting the library.
