Mary Allen Studio Tour - Artist Spotlight Series

The Waterloo Public Library is thrilled to partner with the Mary Allen Studio Tour and the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund for an Artist Spotlight Series taking place at the Main Library on Tuesdays in September. Register for a spotlight session and then join us for our Try New Art Series.

Edgar & Pooch - Perfecting Canine Photography

Stephen Edgar has been taking photographs professionally for 25 years. While his clients love him for his diverse skill set, it is his signature editorial style that has taken him around the world to visually document overlooked regions and peoples. With canine photography, Stephen has taken a deep new breath. Edgar & Pooch is the art of the dog. Authentic photographs that communicate simplicity, joy and natural things.

Ginny Carnevale - Experimenting in Printmaking

Ginny Carnevale is a printmaker living in her hometown of Cambridge, Ontario. She completed a degree in Fine Art at the University of Guelph with a specialization in printmaking. She is always looking to challenge herself and grow as an artist, continually learning new techniques and skills through a variety of skills and workshops. Ginny has been a member of the Riverside Print Group since 2013 and through this collective has been involved in many events to engage and teach the public about printmaking. She has exhibted in prints, pastels, pen and ink sketches and painting.

Jane Hamilton - The Creative Process

In her backyard studio in Waterloo, Jane Hamilton creates colourful, textured mixed media paintings both large and small. With a 25-year history in textile design, Jane also hand paints pillows, silk scarves and art cards. Additionally, Jane creates site-specific works for local organizations such as Grand River Hospital, Lutherwood Child and Family Foundation and Hope Spring Cancer Support Centre.

DIY Mixed Media Canvas
