The Manulife Financial Sportsplex and Healthy Living Centre was opened in 2001, and houses facilities for a number of sporting events, banquets, and other businesses including a skate shop and a sports bar. There are 4 Olympic sized ice rinks, 2 NBA sized basketball courts, and a full-sized indoor soccer field. The facilities are used for everything from regional tournaments to recreational leagues. There is even a group that uses the field house to fly model airplanes.
