Meeting Rooms and Display Cases for Rent
Let WPL bring your group together by renting our meeting rooms at the Main Library (35 Albert Street) and at the John M. Harper Branch (500 Fischer-Hallman Road North).
Payments and arrangements for rentals must be completed 7 days prior to your event. If cancellation is necessary, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required, otherwise no refund will be given.
We also offer to customers renting one of our rooms the use of a data projector ($50.00), a flip chart with paper ($5.00), and a laptop computer ($50.00).

Main Library
The James J. Brown Auditorium and the Boardroom are available to rent:
Mondays to Thursdays: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
Fridays: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturdays: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sundays: unavailable
James J. Brown Auditorium
- seats a maximum of 75 people (various room set-ups available)
- accommodates 100 people (standing room only)
- $40 per hour or $140 for a full day booking
Boardroom
- accommodates 12 to 15 people
- $20 per hour or $75 for a full day booking

John M. Harper Branch

Display Case Rental (Main Library only)
Over 1,600 people visit the Main Library every day. Why not take advantage and let them know who you are in the community? The Main Library has two display cases.
Dupont St. Lobby
This case may be rented to promote businesses and other organizations.
The dimensions of the case are 92” x 46” x 15”. Glass shelves are available for the case and are adjustable.
The display case rental fee is $30.00 for 1 week, $60.00 for 2 weeks, $120.00 per month or $240 for two months. A deposit of $25.00 is needed in order to secure your reservation. The balance owing for the rental must be paid one month before the rental occurs.
If cancellation is necessary, one month’s notice is required otherwise refund will be forfeited. A late fee of $10.00 per day will be charged if displays are not removed on time.
Albert Street Lobby
This case is available for charities (free of charge) to use to promote their cause or fundraiser, or may be rented to businesses and other organizations.
The dimensions of the case are 59” x 54” x 60”.
The display case rental fee is $30.00 for 1 week, $60.00 for 2 weeks, $120.00 per month or $240 for two months. A deposit of $25.00 is needed in order to secure your reservation. The balance owing for the rental must be paid one month before the rental occurs.
