Patricia Cornwell

Born in Florida, Patricia Cornwell was raised there and in North Carolina. She graduated in 1979 with a degree in literature. Before becoming an author she was a crime reporter and worked in the Medical Examiners office in Richmond, Virginia. Cornwell is known for her meticulous research and attention to detail.
