Anne Rice

Anne Rice (who also writes erotica under the pseudonym A.N. Roquelaure) was born in New Orleans in 1941. In 1961 she married Stan Rice. Their first child, Michele, was born in 1966. Sadly, she died from leukemia at age 5. Two years later, Rice’s first novel, Interview With a Vampire, was published. Son Christopher (who would following in his mother’s writing footsteps) was born in 1978. Anne Rice currently resides in California.
