Anne Perry

Juliet Hulme, whom readers know as Anne Perry, was born in 1938. She was a fragile child, frequently ill and missing a lot of schooling. Fortunately, her mother shared with Anne a love of books; teaching her daughter to read and write. While working at a number of jobs in her 20s and 30s, she continued to scribble down her ideas. Her first book, The Cater Street Hangman was published in 1979. She lives north of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.

If you’re a fan of Perry’s mysteries, then you’ll enjoy these authors too.
