Welcome to KidBits! This section of the website is for children from newborn to 12 years of age and their parent/caregiver.
In the Children’s Departments at Waterloo Public Library (Main and McCormick Branch) we have much to offer our youngest customers:
- books (in English and other languages)
- magazines to borrow
- CDs (recorded books, games and music)
- DVDs
- Tumblebook Library (ebooks)
- literacy kits
- family language kits
- child-friendly computers for education, research or just plain fun
- friendly staff to assist young students with their homework assignments
- free programs (crafts, games, movies, special guests etc.)
The McCormick Branch, with the support of the Lakeshore Village Optimist Club, also has the popular Toys to Grow: a toy lending library.
