Welcome!  Bienvenue!   Huan yin!  Khush amaadiid!  Swaagatam!  Sat Sri Akal!  Khosh aamadid!  Marhaban!  Foon ying!

Welcome to the Waterloo Public Library.  We are here to help you.

Waterloo Public Library has three (3) branches, the Main Library, the McCormick Branch and the John M. Harper Branch.  The Waterloo Public Library is FREE for everyone who lives in the Region of Waterloo.

There is no fee and no age limit to use the library or to get a library card.

We have free books, newspapers, magazines, DVDs, CDs, computers, internet, and programs.

LSP Settlement Workers are at the library to help you settle into our wonderful community.

The  English Conversation Circle is for adults and older youth with ESL needs who would like a regular, informal opportunity to develop and practice their English language skills and socialize with others who have similar needs.  Language Kits and Literacy books are available for adults and children.

Our Teen Advisory Council (TAC) is for people ages 13 to 18 years.  The group meets each month.  There are crafts, games, contests, and food!  Registration is not required.  Just come for the fun.  The Teen Advisory Council meets at the John M. Harper Branch, 500 Fischer-Hallman Road North, Waterloo.

We look forward to meeting and helping you.  Visit us today!
