But some older books, too. We hope to introduce you to some new titles and authors, or perhaps to reacquaint you with an old favourite. New entries are posted every few days, so check back often!

Book Spine Poetry
Celebrate National Poetry Month by creating your own “Book Spine Poetry”. What is Book Spine Poetry? The concept first appeared twenty years ago when artist Nina Katchadourian began collecting books with interesting titles and grouping them together so that the spines could be read like a sentence. Our challenge to WPL customers is to create their own Book Spine Poetry in celebration of National Poetry Month. So, create your poetry, take a photo and email it to shall@wpl.ca . Submitted works will be posted on the blog. Let your inner poet out!
Fact. Fiction. Feast.: the WPL Cookbook
Waterloo Public Library staff and customers shared their favourite recipes and book titles for a new community cookbook, “Fact. Fiction. Feast.” Funds raised from the sale of the cookbook were directed at refurbishing the preschool area in the Children’s Department at the Main Library. Looking for a sampling of the delicious recipes…visit the blog!
