Volunteering at Waterloo Public Library is a great way to make a difference in our community.  Over 160 volunteers donate their time to support services at both the Main Library and the McCormick Branch.

If you are interested in volunteering, simply pick up a volunteer application form at any WPL public service desk or click here to print a copy of the form.   Return your completed form to the library.   Submitting an application form does not guarantee an interview or placement because there are a limited number of volunteer positions available.

Our Volunteers FAQs page will provide you with more complete information about the jobs available to volunteers, age requirements, police checks and placement procedures etc.

If you have other questions about volunteering, please contact staff at one of the following locations:

  • Main Library 519-886-1310 ext. 114 or 186
  • McCormick Branch 519-886-1310 ext. 213
  • John M. Harper Branch Library 519-886-1310 ext. 310
