Renewing
To extend the due date of an item you may renew in person, through View Your Account on the library catalogue or website, or by telephone. Most items, except DVDs, may be renewed a maximum of 2 times. DVDs and Family Language Kits may be renewed once. FastView DVDs and FastRead Books are not renewable. If there is a Hold on an item, the item cannot be renewed.

Limits
Certain limits apply to renewals:
- If a hold has been placed on an item it cannot be renewed
- Books, magazines, recorded books, kits and CDs may be renewed up to twice
- FastRead Books may not be renewed
- DVDs – regular may be renewed once
- FastView DVDs may not be renewed
