Renewing - TelRenew

Borrowed items may be renewed using TelRenew, an automated telephone service.   The service is available 7 days-a-week, 24 hours-a-day at (519) 886-5480.

Here’s How

You must have a Touch-tone telephone to use this service.

You will need your library card and the barcodes of the items you wish to renew.

Listen to the welcome then press:

• 1 - to renew
• 2 - for Library announcements
• 9 - at any time to end call

If renewing, enter the complete barcode number from your library card followed by #:

• 2 3420 00 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ #

Your number will be confirmed.

The system will tell you how many items you have out and how many can be renewed. You have the option of listening to the barcodes of items checked out. There is an option to renew all or to renew selected items (by entering the last 4 digits of the barcode).

Listen carefully to the instructions. Some items may not be renewed. The system will give you a new date due for successfully renewed items. Listen for this.   Do not hang up the phone until ALL items have been listed and transactions are complete.
