Holds - Freeze

Going on vacation? Don’t forget to freeze your holds!   The Freeze feature delays receipt of an item and let others go ahead of you while still maintaining your place in the waiting list. When you return from vacation, simply un-freeze the hold. It’s easy!

1. Visit www.wpl.ca , click on View Your Account , and complete online form.
2. Click on Requests (Holds) to view your list of hold items.
3. Click on the Freeze box beside each of the items you wish to freeze.
4. Click on UPDATE List (top left hand side). You must “update list” in order for the freeze (or the “un-freeze”) to activate.

If you are #1 in the holds queue or there is NO tick box displayed beside an item, the system will not freeze your hold. For assistance with this please phone 519-886-1310 ext. 138.
