Returns - After Hours

Main Library

Two returns chutes are available at the Main Library on the Dupont Street level. The chutes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There is one chute for books, magazines, and recorded books, and a separate chute for DVDs and CDs. The chutes are clearly labeled. Items from the Main Library,  the McCormick Branch and the John M. Harper Branch may be returned in the chutes.

Interlibrary loans may not be returned in the chute.

McCormick Branch

A book drop is available at the McCormick Branch for after hours returns of Waterloo Public Library materials.

Books, magazines, recorded books, DVDs and CDs may be returned in the drop box. Interlibrary loans may not be returned in the book drop.

When the branch is open, all items are to be returned to the Circulation Desk.

John M. Harper Branch Library

Two book drops are available at the Harper Branch for after hours returns of Waterloo Public Library materials.  One is external, located on the driveway side of the Library.  The other is internal, in the Library’s lobby opposite the coffee shop.

Books, magazines, recorded books, DVDs and CDs may be returned in the drop box. Interlibrary loans may not be returned in the book drop.
