 My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult

This is an amazing book.  I started reading it and couldn’t put it down.  When a friend told me to read it, I thought it was just another “chick-lit” beach read but it is definitely not that.  All sorts of ethical issues came up in the book.  I felt as though I really knew the characters and was sorry to come to the end.  I’m glad Jodi Picoult has written a lot of other books for me to read next.  Warning!  You will need kleenex when you read this book.

This movie is amazing. I was blown-away. And it isn’t just for kids. It will make everyone who sees it laugh…and maybe even cry.

Fearless - Taylor Swift

I don’t usually like country music but I like Taylor Swift.  The songs on this CD are split between upbeat and ballads.  Taylor wrote or co-wrote all of the songs which shows she has a lot of talent and imagination.
