Independent Learning Centre’s Ask a Teacher

Ask a Teacher is a free chat room service available Sunday-Thursday from 5:30-9:30 that lets high school students chat one-on-one with teachers and uses a virtual whiteboard for graphics and diagrams.   Very very cool.

Virtual Reference Library (VRL)

Discovery Education’s School Resources

Discovery Channel’s great site for research with an American outlook. Cool links include Science Fair Central and Puzzlemaker.

Multnomah County Homework Helper

Another mega homework site. This one is easy to use and very extensive! Check out their Wars and World History category. Lots of Canadian content.
